What is an NOx Emulator?
A NOx emulator is a device which imitates a fully functional NOx sensor. It is very useful as an emergency tool in case of NOx sensor faults, where an immediate solution is inaccessible or as a reliable NOx sensor alternative. Our NOx emulators work with most popular truck brands, including Volvo, DAF, Iveco, Scania, MAN and others.
How does it work?
The NOx emulator is installed directly inside of the NOx sensor casing. The original board would have to be replaced with the NOx emulator board, which should fit perfectly onto the pins. Once connected and working, it will connect to the CAN lines and will output acceptable emissions data, which will remove any NOx sensor faults on the dashboard.
