What is the fuel tank alarm system?
Our fuel tank alarm system protects any driver from unauthorised access to fuel related components such as fuel tank lids and fuel sensors. It will actively monitor any movement or tamper and will sound a loud signal to scare off any perpetrator. The main features include the capability of covering 4 separate areas, light and/or sound alarm options, GPS/GSM module connectivity and programming mode.
What are capabilities of the system?
The alarm system is controlled by a microprocessor that is connected to a remote control. When activated, the alarm keeps track of the sensors, operation modes and activation status, all conveniently displayed on an LED remote control on the dashboard. The sensors are tracked automatically, with the driver always being informed if any of the sensors have been disabled or tampered with. The siren can always be tested remotely to ensure that the system is ready for use.
How secure is the system?
Security-wise, the alarm system has full protection against wire-tampering, memorises it’s state at power supply disconnection, can be limited on the number of alarm activations and has a siren with a back-up power supply. It can only be controlled via the remote control, conveniently placed in the driver’s glove compartment, making unauthorised access to any of the security systems impossible.
